OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - A man accused of offering $10,000 for someone to kill his wife was convicted Thursday in Olympia of solicitation to commit murder.

The Olympian reports (https://is.gd/R8GHaZ ) Brian Cox wanted to avoid paying her money in their divorce.

The 44-year-old Olympia man also was convicted of a second count of solicitation to commit murder for offering money to a cellmate in the Thurston County Jail to kill an informant in the first case.
