CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - A North Charleston man has been sentenced to 45 years in prison for killing a man during an argument over a child.
Twenty-two-year-old Torren Marquiz Eady was convicted Thursday of murder, three counts of attempted murder and possession of a gun during a violent crime.
Eady was accused of shooting 21-year-old Adrian King in the head in April 2012. Another man was hurt.
Investigators said the altercation started with the mother of Eady’s child complained about his new girlfriend being present while he watched the child.
