SEATTLE (AP) - A fatal accident in Spokane County went undiscovered for a day.

The sheriff’s office believed a car went down a 150-foot embankment near the Spokane River on Wednesday night. But it wasn’t spotted until late Thursday afternoon.

A woman in the car was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown out and killed as the car overturned multiple times.
