PIERRE, S.D. (AP) - South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard has appointed a new member to the state’s Aeronautics Commission.
Daugaard has named Arlen Hauge of Sioux Falls to a three-year term.
South Dakota Transportation Secretary Darin Bergquist says Hauge’s experiences as a pilot and businessman will be great assets to the commission.
Hauge’s is succeeding Larry Nelson who served 24 years on the commission.
Hauge is an Augustana College graduate. The Sioux Falls also attended the University of South Dakota School of Law.
