NORTH MERRICK, N.Y. (AP) - Federal and local authorities have seized steroids, painkillers and drug paraphernalia on Long Island during a narcotics investigation.
Nassau County police say Antonio Daddi of North Merrick was arrested Wednesday on drug charges.
The investigation also included the DEA and the Homeland Security Investigations JFK Narcotics Smuggling Group.
Authorities allege that Daddi took possession of a synthetic steroid at a shipping location in the Merrick area on Wednesday afternoon.
They raided his home on Wednesday night. They say that search uncovered steroid powder and liquid; Oxycodone, Percocet and another painkiller.
Authorities say they also recovered about 10,000 empty glass vials and 150,000 empty capsules.
The name of the defendant’s attorney was not immediately known.
