MONROE, Mich. (AP) - The owner of a southeastern Michigan music store is charged with sexually assaulting two teenage boys.

Police Detective J.D. Wall says Robert Stumpmier used his position of leadership and authority to coerce the victims.

The 50-year-old Stumpmier owns Power Play Music in Monroe and is the founding member of a 4-H music club.

Wall says the assaults took place either at the music shop or during a trip.

Stumpmier is jailed on the charges.

A former store employee also faces a criminal sexual conduct charge. The Monroe News reports (https://bit.ly/1eWZeYa) Nathaniel Rumbarger is charged with assaulting one of the victims.

The 21-year-old Rumbarger is free on bond.

Messages seeking comment were left Thursday with lawyers for Stumpmier and Rumbarger.
