LAS VEGAS (AP) - A Nevada judge scheduled trial April 21 for a 36-year-old man who pleaded not guilty to raping a woman last month at a Las Vegas Strip hotel.

Joseph remained Thursday at the Clark County jail after entering his plea Wednesday before Clark County District Court Judge Stefany Miley.

The judge set bail at $290,000.

Joseph’s attorney, Orlando De Castroverde, didn’t immediately respond to messages.

Joseph was indicted Feb. 7 on sex assault, coercion, battery and lewdness charges stemming from a woman’s report that he attacked her between Jan. 22 and Jan. 23 at the Tropicana hotel-casino.
