FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - A Fort Collins police detective has been arrested on charges of harassment and domestic violence.

Police say 37-year-old Jason Jungmeyer (YUNG’-may-ur) surrendered at the Larimer County jail Thursday after an investigation by the sheriff’s department. He was released on $1,000 bond.

No phone number could be found for him and he wasn’t listed in online jail records.

The Fort Collins Coloradoan reports (https://tinyurl.com/jvst9yn) the harassment charge stems from phone calls.

Jungmeyer is on paid administrative leave while an internal affairs investigation is underway.
