GUILFORD, Vt. (AP) - A couple escaped after their house caught on fire in the Vermont town of Guilford.

The Brattleboro Reformer reports (https://bit.ly/1bI41RH) the house, which was built in 1791, had been renovated by the homeowner.

Firefighters say it appears Tuesday night’s fire started in the chimney.

No one was hurt.
