WEYMOUTH, Mass. (AP) - Authorities say a 29-year-old woman is dead after the roof of her carport collapsed on her under the weight of snow in Weymouth.
David Traub, spokesman for Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey, says Jenna Flaherty was taken from her Harlem Road home to South Shore Hospital, where she died Thursday.
Traub says state police detectives attached to the district attorney’s office have joined Weymouth police officers investigating the apparent fatal roof collapse.
Traub says the investigation is continuing and detectives have not yet found evidence of foul play in the death.
