BELLE GLADE, Fla. (AP) - Detectives are investigating the death of a person found burned beyond recognition in a vehicle fire.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to State Road 80 near Belle Glade Saturday at about 5:50 a.m.
Authorities say firefighters found a vehicle completely engulfed in flames. Once the blaze was extinguished, a body was found in the front driver’s side seat.
The individual has not been identified. A DNA analysis will be completed.
Crime scene and arson investigators have processed the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
