OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Students have extra time to enter a film festival geared toward emerging moviemakers in northern Oklahoma.

The BisonBison Film Festival has extended the deadline to enter the festival to Friday.

The film festival showcases a variety of films made by young filmmakers enrolled in colleges, universities or trade schools within a 125-mile radius of Ponca City.

The films must be 30 minutes or shorter, and the entry fee is $25. A jury of professional filmmakers will make festival selections and determine award recipients.

The festival will be held March 12 in Ponca City.
