BEVERLY, W.Va. (AP) - Union workers at Armstrong World Industries’ hardwood plant in Beverly have ratified a new three-year contract.
Armstrong spokeswoman Jennifer Johnson tells The Inter-Mountain (https://bit.ly/1c16zWW) that the company is pleased with the results of the vote.
The old contract expired at midnight Saturday. Members of Teamsters Local 175 approved the new agreement on Sunday.
Armstrong’s Beverly plant employs about 750 workers and is the third-largest employer in Randolph County.
