EAST PATCHOGUE, N.Y. (AP) - A woman has been killed in a house fire on Long Island.

Police say the unidentified woman was pulled from her home on Munsell Road in East Patchogue just before 8 a.m. Tuesday. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the woman was the only person in the house at the time of the fire. A neighbor had called 911 after seeing smoke.
