BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - A grass fire on Flagstaff Mountain in western Boulder has been contained, but there was no immediate report on damage.

City officials say the fire started Tuesday afternoon on private property. The cause is under investigation.

City firefighters and Boulder County sheriff’s deputies responded.



Flagstaff Road has been reopened. It was closed briefly to help firefighters reach the scene.
