VILLE PLATTE, La. (AP) - A 60-year-old Ville Platte man was killed when the three-wheel motorcycle he was riding left the road and hit a tree.
Louisiana State Police say Terry Thrasher, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck at La. Highway 3187 in Evangeline Parish.
Trooper Stephen Hammons says Thrasher was riding a 2001 Honda north on the highway near Red Lick Road at around 6:10 p.m. Sunday when he veered left, traveled off the road and into a tree.
