NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - An April hearing is set for a Norfolk man accused of killing his 5-month-old daughter.
Norfolk police tell media outlets that 23-year-old Andrew Givens is charged with murder in the death of his daughter, Gabrielle Givens.
The infant died Saturday, two days after she was taken to a local hospital.
Police say a medical examiner determined that the infant’s death was a homicide. The cause of death hasn’t been released.
Givens was arraigned on Tuesday. A preliminary hearing is set for April 22.
