LAURENS, S.C. (AP) - A motorcyclist has died after a wreck with a special education school bus in Laurens County.
Few details have been released about the crash. Chief Deputy Coroner Vickie Cheek says the wreck happened just before 7 a.m. Tuesday on U.S. 221.
Laurens School District 55 Superintendent Billy Strickland says there were four students on the bus at the time of the wreck, but none of them were hurt.
Authorities have not released the motorcyclist’s name. Local officials and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating.
