MONROE, La. (AP) - A 34-year-old Monroe man has been convicted in the rape of two women, including a University of Louisiana at Monroe student in January 2012.

The News-Star reports (https://tnsne.ws/1c0ObgE ) a jury found Terresz Robinson guilty of two counts of aggravated rape, one count of attempted second-degree kidnapping, second-degree kidnapping, carjacking and theft.

Closing arguments were heard Monday afternoon 4th District Court in Monroe. A brief recess was called before Judge Wilson Rambo was to give instructions to the jury, and deliberations started shortly afterward.



Sentencing was set for April 17.
