BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - An ex-Social Security Administration employee has pleaded guilty to wire fraud, theft of government property and aggravated identity theft in a fraud scheme.

AL.com reports (https://bit.ly/1fedBfi ) 35-year-old Tabaris Archie Brown, of Montgomery, appeared in court Tuesday morning. Investigators have said Brown used his access to social security numbers and bank deposit information to reroute payments of 11 beneficiaries to his own accounts.

Brown is ordered to pay restitution and will remain out on bond until his sentencing on July 10.
