ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) - Reagan National Airport officials say construction caused some flooding and phone outages.

WTOP-FM reports (https://bit.ly/1cUrsmA ) that the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority says the sprinkler system was hit during construction work at a store. The flooding is also affecting the airport’s phone system.

The water has been turned off and officials say crews are working to clean up before most passengers arrive for morning flights.
