DENVER (AP) - A blowing dust warning has been issued by the Colorado health department for the Eastern Plains.
Cities under alert include Fort Morgan, Sterling, Julesburg, Holyoke, Akron, Wray, Burlington, Cheyenne Wells, Eads and Lamar.
Public health officials said the warning is in effect until 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Officials say people with heart or lung disease, older adults and children in affected areas should avoid heavy indoor and outdoor exertion.
