NEW YORK (AP) - The NYPD says a driver and passenger were killed after their car overturned and struck a tree in Queens.
It occurred shortly before 1 a.m. Tuesday on the Long Island Expressway between exits 25 and 24.
Police say the two victims were traveling westbound when their Audi sedan left the roadway, turned on its side and struck a tree.
They were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
