CHANDLER, Ariz. (AP) - Two people were treated for cuts and bruises suffered when a truck slammed into an apartment in Chandler early Tuesday morning.
A 49-year-old woman sleeping in the apartment was released from a hospital after being treated. The woman’s husband dug her out from rubble on their bed to get her out of the apartment.
Police say the driver of the truck was the other person injured. He lost control of the vehicle while driving in an alley.
The driver’s identity wasn’t released but police are investigating whether he was under the influence of alcohol.
