LUMBERTON, Miss. (AP) - A single-vehicle accident Saturday afternoon in Lumberton claimed a second teenager Monday.

Lamar County Deputy Coroner Anna Miller tells The Hattiesburg American (https://hatne.ws/1gdC3LG ) 14-year-old Jakerious Bolton died early Monday afternoon from injuries sustained when an SUV left the road and crashed into the trees.

Miller says another passenger, Zion Holder, was pronounced at the scene off Piatonia Loop Road, just inside the Lumberton city limits off U.S. Highway 11. Miller did not have an exact age on Holder, but said he was in his teens as well.



She said the accident occurred about 3:20 p.m. Saturday.

Miller says the driver also was hurt. The injuries were not considered life-threatening.
