ATLANTA (AP) - Atlanta police say a teenager was in critical condition after he was shot multiple times.

The shooting happened around 1:15 a.m. Monday in southwest Atlanta.

Local media say the shooting happened after the 17-year-old got in an argument with a person about a prior incident involving a car belonging to one of his relatives.

Police say the teen was shot twice when he tried to run away.
