NATCHITOCHES, La. (AP) - Pianist Washington Garcia will perform at Northwestern State University on Tuesday as part of the university’s Louisiana Piano Series International.
The recital will be at 7:30 p.m. in the Magale Recital Hall. The performance is open to the public with tickets priced at $15 each. Students will be admitted free.
The program will include works by Bach, Beethoven, Gerardo Guevara, Ferruccio Busoni, Ravel and Chopin.
GarcÃa is associate professor of piano and assistant director of the School of Music at Texas State University-San Marcos.
