ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Fans of “The Sound of Music” get a chance to sing along when the classic Julie Andrews movie is screened in St. Paul next month.

The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts says “Sing-a-Long-a Sound of Music” is returning to the Ordway for the third year in a row.

The Ordway will present two screenings of the film on March 22, at 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $27.

The movie includes subtitles so the audience can sing along. Fans can wear costumes for a chance to win prizes in a contest that begins a half-hour before performance times.

“Sing-a-Long-a Sound of Music” opened at the Prince Charles Cinema in London’s West End in August 1999. The show has since played worldwide with over 10,000 performances.
