LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Later this month the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Libraries will start a new talk series, “Sci Pop Talks! Where Science Intersects Pop Culture.”

The talks will be held every Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Mezzanine Study Room of Love Library.

The free talks will explore the science within popular culture.



The Feb. 26 topic title is “The Story of Chocolate: Nutrition and Sensory Qualities.” Other talk titles include “Chemistry to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse” and “Alien Biochemistry in the Movies.”
