LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police in southern Nevada say a man was struck by a car and killed while trying to help an accident victim on a highway near Laughlin.
The Las Vegas Sun (https://bit.ly/1ftzL9D ) reports a 72-year-old man stopped to give aid to the driver of an overturned vehicle when the accident happened just before 6 p.m. Sunday on Needles Highway.
Police say witnesses and evidence indicate that the man was crossing the highway when a vehicle struck him.
The victim was flown to University Medical Center in Las Vegas where he died.
