MCMECHEN, W.Va. (AP) - A huge moving job will make its way through Marshall County this week.

Called a “de-ethanizer,” the massive machinery used by the energy industry weighs in at 510,000 pounds and is 41 yards long. It will be transported on 48 wheels.

The State Journal (https://bit.ly/1cR1xfN) reports that the equipment will help Williams Energy separate ethane from natural gas.

The 30-mile trip from McMechen to the Oak Grove facility near Cameron is expected to take four days at a top speed of 5 mph.

Weather permitting; the company hopes to start the move on Thursday.
