BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - A neighborhood development in Baton Rouge is adding more houses to its original plan.
Developer Richard Carmouche tells The Times-Picayune (https://bit.ly/1dLH4Z9 ) that 100 lots are being added to The Settlement at Willow Grove, which is near Perkins Rowe and the Mall of Louisiana.
Original plans called for development of 300 lots.
Carmouche said sales in the original plan went more quickly than expected, sparking the plan to building more houses.
Construction crews broke ground on The Settlement at Willow Grove in February 2013.
