WASHINGTON (AP) - Police say two pedestrians were struck by a taxi in northwest Washington and one is in critical condition.

Police say it happened at the intersection of Connecticut Avenue and Calvert Street NW around 2 a.m. Sunday.

Police say the two people who were hit were adults and were taken to a hospital. The second person suffered non-life-threatening injuries.



The taxi stayed on the scene.
