SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) - Officials say it took three technical rescue teams to remove the body of a nearly 500-pound man from the basement of a Silver Spring group home where he died.

Television station WUSA-TV (https://on.wusa9.com/1frghmg ) reports a roommate called officials after he returned to the home at 12918 Autumn Drive and found the man dead. Police say officials had to cut a hole in the main floor of the home to get the man out of the basement and had to cut another hole in the roof of the house to lower a pulley.

Officials say the man was in his 50s and police are investigating his death as a natural incident. Police, fire officials and a Hazmat were all involved.
