NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (AP) - Officials have identified the woman and two boys who died in a house fire in central New York.

Police in New Hartford near Utica say 7-year-old Joshua Morinitti and 3-year-old Jordan Morinitti died in the fire that started just before 11 a.m. Saturday. Also killed was 21-year-old Jennifer Moore.

Officials tell the Utica Observer-Dispatch (https://bit.ly/NVxb6z ) that the two boys were found dead in a first-floor bedroom and Moore’s body was found in the cellar after a bulldozer cleared wreckage.

The cause of the fire was found to be a malfunctioning electrical appliance. It was ruled accidental.

Five other people in the home were treated and released from a hospital. They include the boys’ mother, Jessica Morinitti, her boyfriend and their infant son, and Jennifer Moore’s 2-year-old son.
