1 dead, 2 injured in Lamar County wreck

LUMBERTON, Miss. (AP) - Lamar County Deputy Coroner Anna Miller has released the name of a passenger killed in a one-vehicle wreck.

Miller Tells WDAM-TV (https://bit.ly/1lUFB9C ) that Zion Holder died instantly in the crash Saturday afternoon.

The station reports that two other people were taken to a hospital.

Lumberton Fire Chief Abner Keith says the accident occurred on Piatonia Loop Road.

Lumberton police say they’re not releasing any information about the wreck until Monday.

Miller says the driver apparently lost control while driving fast.
