FARGO, N.D. (AP) - An eastern North Dakota school district says it is preparing its buildings to avoid a repeat of class cancellations due to classrooms being too hot.
The Fargo School District had to cancel classes at the beginning of the school year when the temperature in various rooms was unbearable.
WDAY-TV (https://bit.ly/1lTjksI ) in Fargo reports district officials say new heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems will soon be installed at two elementary schools.
School board members are yet to grant contracts to have those systems set up at four other schools. The station reports that bids for new heating and air conditioning systems at a third school will open next week.
