NORWALK, Conn. (AP) - Authorities say a Metro-North train on the Danbury line has struck an unoccupied van in Norwalk but no injuries have been reported.

The Hour reports (https://bit.ly/1bUJs0e ) that the train had 100 passengers on board when it struck the van at the Glover Avenue crossing near the Meritt 7 office complex around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

One of the crossing rails was bent and the van was pushed into a snowbank. It was unclear whether the owner of the van was facing any charges.

The train was stalled for about an hour while police investigated.
