EDGEWATER, Md. (AP) - Anne Arundel County Police have arrested a man after finding what they say was a meth lab in a home owned by his relatives.

Police were called to the Edgewater home Thursday night for a report of suspicious activity in the basement.

Officers say they found chemicals and equipment and containers such as flasks, beakers, tubing and extensive glassware used to manufacture methamphetamine.

Twenty-two-year-old Joshua Lee Bell of Edgewater was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and illegally manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance.
