MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) - Cobb County jurors have convicted three men in a 2011 killing.
Prosecutors say 27-year-old Harvey Hogans; 32-year-old Derek Lee Kemp; and 31-year-old Alphonso Watkins were convicted of murder and other charges Friday in the death of Derek George Gray Jr.
Hogans is from New York, while Kemp and Watkins are both from Marietta.
Gray was shot to death inside a Ford Taurus that was later found burned in Union City. His body was dumped in Cobb County.
Deputy Assistant District Attorney Jesse Evans told jurors that Watkins set up Gray for a robbery.
A judge scheduled sentencing for Monday morning. All three men could get life without parole.
