KILMARNOCK, Va. (AP) - Rappahannock General Hospital has agreed to join the Bon Secours Virginia Health System.

The health care organizations announced Wednesday the signing of a letter of intent, two years after they entered into a clinical affiliation agreement.

The latest agreement includes Rappahannock General Hospital, its medical group and foundation. That agreement is subject to applicable approvals.

With more than 100 physicians on its medical staff, Rappahannock General serves Virginia’s Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula.
