LADYSMITH, Wis. (AP) - Ladysmith police have released the name of a pedestrian killed when he was struck by a train.

Police say 28-year-old Jacob Lebal (LEE’-bahl) of Ladysmith was walking just before noon Tuesday when he was struck by a train traveling through Ladysmith.

The Leader-Telegram (https://bit.ly/1bNxHZi) reports the accident closed the area to traffic for more than two hours.
