BARTOW, Fla. (AP) - Officials in central Florida say at least 17 mobile homes have been damaged by stormy weather.

Polk County Fire Rescue reports that heavy rains and wind damaged homes Wednesday evening around Haines City, Fort Meade and Bartow. Three of the homes appeared to suffer structural damage, while the rest seemed to be cosmetic.

No injuries have been reported.

Officials say customers from Duke Energy, Tampa Electric and Lakeland Electric are experiencing power outages.

Building officials say they hope to get a better idea of the damage Thursday in the daylight.
