PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Portland police say a woman who reported she was sexually assaulted last month by a stranger in Grant Park gave officers false information.

Police said Tuesday the 22-year-old woman was not assaulted by a stranger and the public is not in danger.

KGW reports (https://bit.ly/1m7yC0s ) police withdrew a suspect sketch and Crime Stoppers withdrew its $1,000 reward for information on the case.
