DETROIT (AP) - Two men found slain by firefighters in a burning Detroit home and a third man who later died at a hospital have been identified.

The Wayne County medical examiner’s office says Wednesday that 51-year-old Lawrence Bowman was stabbed multiple times and died from a gunshot to the head.

His 26-year-old son, Nicholas Bowman, and 24-year-old Michael Hoots were stabbed to death.

The bodies of Lawrence Bowman and Hoots, of Livonia, were pulled Monday from Bowman’s home on Bentler Street. Nicholas Bowman also was taken from the house, but died at a Detroit hospital.

Fire officials said it appears the blaze was intentionally set.
