Man killed in apartment complex shooting

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Police say an 18-year-old man was shot and killed at a north Baton Rouge apartment complex.

Cpl. L’Jean McKneely tells The Advocate (https://bit.ly/1eTzLmM ) police found 18-year-old Devonta Jenks shot once in the chest shortly before 2:30 a.m. Tuesday in a breezeway at the Spanish Arms Apartments.

McKneely said Jenks died at the scene.

So far, he says police have not found any witnesses to the shooting.

Police also have not identified a motive.
