LAS VEGAS (AP) - Two women were hospitalized and rush-hour traffic was snarled while the Nevada Highway Patrol investigated the cause of a two-vehicle crash at a key Las Vegas freeway interchange.
Trooper Loy Hixson says the women were taken to University Medical Center in Las Vegas with injuries that weren’t believed to be life-threatening after the crash a little before 7:30 a.m. Wednesday at Interstate 15 and the 215 Beltway.
The crash caused backups on both roads.
Hixson says the women were in a four-door Oldsmobile sedan that collided with a Ford F-150 pickup.
The male driver of the pickup wasn’t reported to have been injured.
