BUTTE, Mont. (AP) - A warrant was issued Wednesday for the arrest of a 27-year-old Butte man suspected of hitting and killing a pedestrian as the man crossed the street.
The Montana Standard reports (https://bit.ly/1bYFeYw ) the warrant for Lucas Hundley says he faces a negligent vehicular homicide charge for the Oct. 18 death of 77-year-old John Hellander.
Prosecutors allege Hundley was under the influence of alcohol or drugs when Hellander was struck. Officials said it did not appear Hellander was in a crosswalk.
