ECRU, Miss. (AP) - Authorities in Pontotoc County say six people were arrested after a two-month investigation into drug activity.

Sheriff Leo Mask tells WTVA-TV (https://bit.ly/1nuSIgw ) that Pontotoc deputies and agents of the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics served a search warrant late Monday at a trailer park near Ecru.

Mask says 30-year-old Jennica Clara Edwards, 36-year-old Rodney Eugene White, 30-year-old Anthony Ray Pulliam, and 49-year-old David Heair, all of Ecru, were booked with possession of methamphetamine.



He says 51-year-old Johnie Heair of New Albany and Stacey Marie McGregor of Oxford, whose age was unavailable, also were booked with possession of the drug.

Investigators say they found a quantity of methamphetamine during a search of the mobile home.

It was not immediately clear whether the suspects have attorneys.
