CHEHALIS, Wash. (AP) - A man was killed in a logging accident Monday in the woods near Morton.

The Lewis County sheriff’s office says 21-year-old Tyler Bryan of Toledo was struck by a log dangling from a cable as it was being hauled about 1,500 feet up a steep slope. Sgt. Rob Snaza says a spinning log hit Bryan as he was working on the ground below.

His father, Ken Bryan of Toledo told The Daily News (https://bit.ly/1bSX9zG ) Tyler and his fiancee were expecting their first child in two months.
